Looking for a sports car with hybrid power? Honda CR-Z is the only one on the market today with great MPG and top performance. And if you think it's not worthy, then why is CR-Z a finalist for Wheels Car of the Year?

Wheels judge James Whitbourn said CR-Z is a "refreshingly pure and enjoyable" ride, "Combine the grin factor with the efficiency promised by the hybrid system and there's little doubt the Honda coupe takes the car where it should be going - smaller, lighter, more efficient and more fun."¹

CR-Z is in the running against six other coupes. Each offers a significant addition to performance driving. However, with a 1.5 liter engine, electric motor, and nickel-metal hydride battery pack, this Honda has a great chance of winning.

Wheels editor Bill Thomas added that this years' finalists are the widest range of entrants in the award's 49-year history.

Wheels Car of the Year winner will be announced January 18. The CR-Z is currently available at Schaller Honda in New Britain, CT.
